Recipe roundups that link to recipes you actually published

A roundup such as "12 Spring Pea Recipes" is one of the most useful pages a food blog can have, if the links work. RecipeFox AI builds roundups from your own published catalog and never invents a link.

Why roundups help a recipe site

Roundups answer broad searches ("easy weeknight pasta", "what to make with frozen peas") that a single recipe cannot. They also pass internal links to older recipes that otherwise sit several clicks deep, and give AI answer engines a clean, list-shaped page to cite.

They only work when every link leads somewhere useful. A roundup full of broken or off-topic links does the opposite.

How a listicle is built

  1. Topic suggestions from your catalog

RecipeFox scans your published recipes and suggests roundup topics it can actually support, each with the recipes it would use. Topics you already created are hidden.

  2. Strict matching

A second pass rejects weak matches, so a lemon tart does not end up in a savory dinner roundup.

  3. One photo per position

Each dish gets its own photoreal image and distinct alt text, so the article does not repeat the same picture.

  4. Verified links

Before publishing, every recipe link is checked against the live site. A recipe that was unpublished is dropped from the links.

  5. Ordinary WordPress post

Listicles are published as normal posts, not recipe cards, with categories, tags, SEO title, description and focus keyword.

What is in each article

  • 01An answer-first intro and a short guide to choosing between the dishes
  • 02Numbered positions, each with a description, a serving suggestion and, when one exists, a link to the full recipe
  • 03Menu planning tips and a closing serving suggestion
  • 04A frequently asked questions section written for the topic
  • 05ItemList and FAQPage structured data

Single or bulk, with a schedule

Paste one idea per line to create up to 50 roundups at once and spread them over days, weeks or months. Duplicate ideas for the same site are skipped automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Does a listicle use WP Recipe Maker or WP Delicious?
No. A roundup is an editorial article, so it is published as a standard WordPress post. Your recipe plugin is only used for individual recipes.
What if my site has only a few recipes on a topic?
The roundup still gets the requested number of positions. Positions without a matching published recipe are written as ideas without a link rather than with a forced one.
Can older listicles get the new FAQ and tags?
Yes. Open the listicle and use "Add FAQ & tags", then update it on WordPress.
